Book Review: THE RICHEST MAN IN BABYLON by George E. Clason

I first learn't about this book in one of Robert Kiyosaki’s books. My aunt happened to have a copy at home, so I just went ahead and read it. This book is about MONEY, how to handle money. Everyone uses money, everyone needs money. To put aside topics regarding money is mere folly. "Ask and it will be given to you, Seek and you shall find..." - Matthew 7:7 It opens with the introduction of the character Bansir; this is followed by a conversation between Bansir and his friend Kobbi about money and they make mention of their old friend Arkad, who came from humble beginnings as themselves but who is now the richest man in Babylon.  While conversing, Bansir and Kobbi realize that they have never found any measure of wealth, because they never did seek for it. The author establishes this truth in the first chapter that we must have ambitions and desires. No! Not Again.

Yes again! Yay me! am blogging again, after a two year hiatus, and here's a little gist on how I came to this decision So I attended the social media summit, at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja on the 8 th  of August. One word it was, Amazing!  I don't consider myself as a social media fan, which is why I attended the summit, I wanted to see what I was missing and I am glad I made that decision. Social media, if harnessed properly can benefit everyone in the right ways, to make money is one reason, but also to lend a voice to others, to let your own voice be heard and so on. I learn't too much to share here. But, it was enough for me to want to start blogging again. There were people from all genres and walks of life, mostly youths and that was inspiring for me.
